In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining site buildings and facilities - from constructing and retrofitting cabinetry and millwork to maintaining critical infrastructure and operating equipment. Responsibilities include:
· Maintain site buildings and facilities
· Design, construct, retrofit, and repair cabinets, tables, shelves, benches, partitions, flooring, door and window frames, locks, door handles, and other types of furniture
· Maintain building interiors and exteriors
· Install siding, drywall and flooring
· Install, repair and maintain building roofs
· Operate, maintain, and calibrate hand and power carpentry tools
· Other duties including labour support as requested by supervisor
· Embrace and support Operational Excellence efforts and OE Culture
· Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
· Must have an interprovincial Journeyperson Carpenter ticket
· 5+ years’ experience working in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operation setting
· Thorough understanding of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry
· Knowledge of applicable building and safety code requirements
· Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
· Ability to read building specifications, blueprints and as-builts
· Class 2 driver’s license is an asset
· Experience with operation of heavy/medium duty equipment is an asset
· Tiling experience is an asset
· Willingness to work with minimum supervision
· Willingness to assist other trades in completion of their duties
· Priority will be given to residents of the Saskatchewan’s North
Work Location & Schedule:
· McClean Lake Mine site
· 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
· Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
· This position requires moderate physical ability
