TN Americas, a subsidiary of Orano USA is a leader of the American nuclear dry storage market.  The company offers a complete line of products and related services to the transportation, storage, and engineering sectors operating in the fuel cycle materials market. 

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in civil engineering projects while working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will be currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good understanding of concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Support project engineers in various aspects of design and analysis
  • Participate in site visits and field investigations
    Help with data collection and analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation
  • Contribute to project planning and scheduling activities
  • Learn and apply relevant building codes and standards
  • Support construction administration activities

Skills and Qualifications (internal)

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Completed at least sophomore year of studies

  • Technical Skills

  • Understanding of Structural Design for Reinforced Concrete

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Basic understanding of structural analysis software

  • Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
