Job Description

Orano USA is seeking a Human Resources Intern for our office in Kernersville, NC.

This temporary position within Orano USA provides support in functional areas of the Human Resources department, which may include recruiting, administrative support, and other projects. 


Major Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities and duties may include:

  • Provide support for HR recruiting, including assisting with:
    • maintaining recruiting system records and candidate files
    • sourcing and outreach
    • scheduling interviews
    • reviewing and dispositioning applicants
    • initiating the onboarding process
  • Provide support to employees by answering incoming questions on various HR –related topics.
  • Support DE&I Program by developing innovative communications and activities to bring awareness to highlighted celebrations.
  • Work on special projects as directed.

Skills and Qualifications (internal)

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. 

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program resulting in a Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
  • Completed a minimum of 4 semesters.
  • Grade point average equal to 3.0 or higher.
  • Adequate experience with Microsoft Office programs.

Candidates must:

  • Have problem identification and resolution experience,
  • Have practiced organizational capability,
  • Be experienced with written and verbal communication,
  • Have the capacity to articulate and comprehend detailed technical data.
  • Maintain ethical work behavior and confidentiality.

The following requirements are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position.

Experience with one or more of the following:

  • Strong Excel and Word skills.
  • Proficient in database management.
  • Practiced soft skills.
  • Prior internship/co-op experience.
