Orano is seeking a General Maintenance Worker II-III to perform maintenance service and repairs in support of TN Fabrication facility located in Kernersville, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in LOTO and basic equipment / mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting and maintenance, including repair and maintenance of welding machines, grinders, and machining centers.
Major duties & responsibilities:
- Perform or assist with maintenance duties such as building maintenance, pipefitting and plumbing, carpentry, equipment repairs and maintenance, office equipment maintenance and installation.
- May perform associated duties such as welding, painting, trash removal, cleaning, etc.
- Operate equipment such as fork trucks, lift trucks, cranes, drill press, cut-off saw, bending, & threading machines, snow removal equipment, etc.
- Climb to and safely work from heights up to 80 feet.
- Work from simple prints, specifications, and procedures.
- Perform basic computer skills.
- Document equipment repairs in maintenance software.
- Assist higher level maintenance workers as directed.
- Properly handle hazardous materials, per site guidelines.
- Play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safety and health rules.
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Pay Range: $24-$28/hour
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position:
- General knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and safety measures.
- Knowledge of procedures and safety measures in area(s) of specialty.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Competency to perform tasks that may impact health and safety in the workplace.
