Orano TN Americas is seeking an Intern in Sales and Marketing. Under the responsibility of the Commercial Organization located in Columbia MD, the intern will coordinate activities relating to Sales and Marketing.

The marketing intern is responsible for assisting the sales and marketing team in the preparation of proposals, researching marketing needs, maintaining and enhancing marketing collateral, and assisting in pricing and data analysis. The marketing intern collaborates with the sales and marketing team in all stages of the capture process and will help develop, expand and maintain marketing materials. Successful marketing interns possess a good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques. They are enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales and proposal team with proposal document editing and formatting
  • Participate in proposal reviews
  • Support marketing campaign planning and execution.
  • Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
  • Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels and collateral and for inclusion in proposals.
  • Participate in sales and marketing brainstorming sessions.
  • Take part in formal and informal training opportunities.
  • Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives including the development of customer satisfaction surveys

Skills and Qualifications (internal)

  • Applied understanding of basic marketing principles
  • Ability to work with a diverse virtual team
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic photography, image and video editing, as well as graphic design skills
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PPT)
  • Experience with the use of Adobe graphics tools and social media management tools
